DR. richard a.cooper & dr. stephen l.doggett

Chinchex has been highlighted in a recent article on the global bed bug resurgence over the past 25 years. The study, conducted by some of the world’s leading entomologists, confirms that Chinchex is the most effective solution against even the most resistant bed bug strains!

Highlights of the Report:

  • “Unlike ineffective outdated treatment methods such as diatom earth (DE), ChinCheX is scientifically proven to work”
  • “No other Silicon product has been tested so widely and has generally proven effective”

Please see the full report HERE.

DDR. RICHARD NAYLOR & ZACHARY NAYLOR

A key INDEPENDENT study by Dr. Richard Naylor and Zachary Naylor proves ChinCheX® Desiccant remains highly effective at killing bed bugs — even in damp, high-humidity environments where traditional diatomaceous earth (DE) slows down or fails.

Unlike DE, which can take over 4 months to achieve full control at 65%+ humidity, ChinCheX® delivers mortality in just 1–2 months — up to 3x faster.

  • “Fast-acting at all humidity levels – from dry (37% RH) to very humid (97% RH)”
  • “Superior to standard DE – achieves total kill in a fraction of the time, especially in moist conditions”
  • Non-repellent – bed bugs walk freely over treated surfaces, ensuring lethal exposure
  • Ideal for real-world use – perfect for hotels, hospitals, and homes where steam, showers, or sprays increase moisture

DR. Babatunji Daramola, Jin-Jia Yu, Changlu Wang

Distinguished Professor of Entomology at Rutgers University, USA. A leading authority on bed bug biology and integrated pest management, Dr. Wang has conducted decades of research on non-chemical control methods, including desiccant dusts.

Highlights of the Report:

  • “ChinChex causes rapid mortality in bed bugs, achieving 100% kill by Day 7”
  • “ChinChex has finer particles than CimeXa – a key factor for enhanced efficacy and faster dehydration”

Please see the full report HERE.

DDR. RICHARD NAYLOR & ZDR.RICHARD NAYLOR & ALEXIA NAYLOR

Leading entomological researcherers and authorities on urban pest management. Their work focuses on practical, sustainable solutions for bed bug control in residential and commercial environments.

Highlights of the Report:

  • “Desiccant dusts have a long residual action and are not listed by IRAC — meaning no risk of resistance development”
  • “BED BUGS ARE REPELLED BY DIATOMACEOUS EARTH (DED), RENDERING IT LESS EFFECTIVE”
  • “Recently, a silica dust, marketed under the name of ChinCheX, has emerged as a more effective alternative”
  • “Silica-based dusts like ChinCheX offer faster kill rates and are not avoided by bed bugs”

EFFICACY REPORTS FOR BEDBUGS

(CHINCHEX DESICCANT SPRAY)

DR. desen wang

A new independant study on ChinCheX Dessicant Spray by Dr.Desen Wan (South China Agricultural Association) shows 100% efficacy of ChinCheX against Tropical Bed Bugs. Putting ChinChex together with its long lasting residuality as the best products for bedbug combat in the world.
According to the study:

  • “ChinChex aerosol spray can be used to effectively kill tropical bed bugs.”
  • “Surprisingly, in the lethal harborage bioassay, all bed bugs died on the 2nd day after treatment. “

DR.STEPHEN L. DOGGETT & DR.KAI DANG

In a groundbreaking independent study conducted by the Department of Medical Entomology at NSW Health Pathology, ChinCheX® Desiccant Spray has been scientifically proven to deliver rapid, reliable, and complete kill of even the most insecticide-resistant bed bug populations.

This rigorous laboratory testing—performed under OECD guidelines—evaluated ChinCheX Desiccant Spray against both insecticide-susceptible (Monheim) and highly resistant (Parramatta) strains of Cimex lectularius , including adults and nymphs. The results? 100% mortality with unmatched speed.

Highlights of the Report:

  • Kills 92–100% of bed bugs within just 2 hours when sprayed directly — even on modern, pyrethroid-resistant strains
  • Achieves 100% kill within 8 days via residual exposure on tiles, fabric, and filter paper — no survivors
  • Highly effective after only 4 hours of contact — real-world relevance for mobile pests
  • No avoidance behavior observed — unlike diatomaceous earth (DE), bed bugs do not repel or avoid treated surfaces
  • Works equally well on all life stages , including hard-to-kill nymphs
  • Outperforms traditional desiccants : Kills significantly faster than DE, which can take 15+ days

Please see the full report HERE.

“ChinCheX Desiccant Spray is highly efficacious against susceptible and modern resistant strains… and should prove to be a useful tool in the arsenal of products available to the pest manager for bed bug eradication. ”
— Doggett & Dang, Department of Medical Entomology, NSW Health Pathology (2025)

ChinCheX Desiccant Spray combines the physical mode of action of silica with the convenience and precision of an aerosol — delivering fast knockdown, long-lasting residuals, and superior customer satisfaction

👉 Unlike ineffective, outdated treatments like diatomaceous earth, ChinCheX kills fast

👉 No other desiccant spray has demonstrated such rapid efficacy across multiple surfaces and resistant strains.

EFFICACY REPORTS FOR COCKROACHES

R. alvaro romero

An efficacy report by Dr.Alvaro Romero shows 100% efficacy of ChinCheX against cockroaches and also demostrates its no repelency. Putting ChinChex together with its long lasting residuality as one of the best products for cockroach combat in the world. According to the study:

  • “No avoidance behavior of German cockroaches to areas treated with CHINCHEX means that the insect will pick up readily the dust and could eventually die within 5 min.”
  • 100% cockroaches died upon 15 min exposure of them to CHINCHEX”

STORED GRAIN PESTS

CHINCHEX SGI

Dr.Hannah E. Quellhorst, Dr.Maria K. Sakka, DR.Georgia V. Baliota, Dr.Christos G. Athanassiou, Dr. Kun Yan Zhu Dr. William R. Morrison III

A groundbreaking new study published in the Journal of Stored Products Research has confirmed that the new ChinCheX®SGI formulation is a highly effective solution for protecting stored grains against destructive pests like the granary weevil (Sitophilus granarius ) and the lesser grain borer (Rhyzopertha dominica ) .

Conducted by leading entomologists from Kansas State University, USDA-ARS, and the University of Thessaly, this peer-reviewed research demonstrates that ChinCheX® SGI delivers exceptional results at low application rates—making it a smart, sustainable choice for integrated pest management (IPM) in grain storage.

Please see the full report HERE.

Highlights of the Report:

  • 100% mortality achieved in both S. granarius and R. dominica at 500–1000 ppm after just 14 days
  • Zero progeny production observed at 500 and 1000 ppm, proving ChinCheX® stops infestations before they start
  • Significant reduction in grain damage and frass even at 100 ppm—showing protective effects at very low doses
  • Outperforms traditional diatomaceous earth (DE) formulations with its pure (99%) amorphous silica composition and ultra-fine particle size
  • No resistance reported, long-lasting residual activity, and safe for use in food storage environments

ChinCheX® SGI is an effective grain protectant on wheat… and provides a valuable option for use in an integrated pest management program.”
